I have always LOVED reading and writing stories. I Love You and I Like You is my first published book. This story was inspired by my son, who one night while being tucked into bed whispered, “I love you Mom, and I like you too”.
Being a parent has opened my eyes to many things. Like the value of a full night sleep and the joy of eating a hot meal ( I remember a time long, long ago when I used to do that); How hard, exhausting and rewarding it can be, all at the same time. The unconditional love between a parent and a child is a rare and beautiful thing. Even when your child is screaming his head off in the supermarket because you didn’t buy the bottle of ketchup that he picked out, you love him. It reminds me of how God loves us, no matter what we do or say, just because we are His children. I hope you enjoy I Love You and I Like You as much as I have enjoyed getting it published. God bless!
